Refund & Cancellation Policy

Before making a payment

Review your selected package, written quote, session agreement and payment summary. Your retainer amount must be identified before payment. Paying the full price in advance does not make the entire payment a retainer.

Mini’s retainer is 50% of the final session price, rounded to the nearest cent. Mini is paid in full at booking; the rest is prepayment beyond the retainer. At a $175.00 session price, that is an $87.50 retainer and $87.50 additional prepayment. If a different price applies, the allocation is calculated from that price.

Client cancellations and retainers

Please discuss rescheduling first. If you cancel your booking, the identified retainer is nonrefundable and everything paid beyond the retainer is refunded, except where applicable law requires a different outcome. For Mini, the normal cancellation refund is the amount above its 50% retainer.

Rescheduling your session

Contact the studio as soon as your plans change so we can discuss flexible options. We agree on a mutually available new date and confirm it in writing. Your existing retainer carries over to the new session date.

This policy sets no automatic rescheduling expiration, rescheduling fee or fixed limit on date changes. A proposed date is subject to availability and written confirmation. Any changed scope or separately quoted expense must be agreed before you commit.

Client illness and exceptions

If you are ill, contact the studio to discuss rescheduling first. If you cancel instead, the normal cancellation rule applies: retain the retainer and refund everything paid beyond it. Exceptions may be considered for the circumstances. Medical records are not routinely required to discuss a change.

Missed sessions without notice

If you do not attend and have not notified the studio, the normal client cancellation rule applies: the retainer is retained and everything paid beyond it is refunded, subject to applicable law. Contact the studio if an emergency prevented you from getting in touch.

If the studio must cancel

If the studio must cancel, we try to arrange a mutually available new date first. If we cannot reschedule, all session payments are refunded, including the retainer.

Separately quoted travel

Travel cancellation terms are handled separately in each written quote. Review and agree to those terms before travel arrangements are made. This policy creates no automatic travel deduction or extra cancellation fee.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are initiated within five business days after the refund is confirmed. Stripe payments are refunded through the original payment method. The bank or payment provider determines when the credit appears; initiation does not mean the funds will appear immediately.

Stripe processing fees are not deducted from the refund owed to you. If the payment provider reports a problem or the refund has not appeared, contact the studio for follow-up. No card numbers are needed to ask about a refund.

Requesting a change or refund

Email the studio with the name and email used for the booking, the session date and what you need help with. A booking or invoice reference is helpful if available. The studio reviews the request and confirms the next steps in writing; a request does not automatically cancel, reserve or move a booking.

This policy takes effect October 21, 2026 and does not retroactively replace an existing signed agreement. Any session-specific agreed terms remain subject to rights and refunds required by applicable law. Tell us about any concern with a delivered service so we can review it against your agreement and applicable rights.

Wedding coverage requests

Submitting a wedding coverage estimate is an inquiry, not a reservation or payment. The studio reviews availability and plans before the later booking requirements are completed. A confirmed wedding booking’s written quote or agreement identifies its retainer and payment requirements.
